Monument

 ,
The corrugated iron shed in a surburban  garden ,should be in some shanty town or on a mountain top . Its  vertical lines are the columns of a temple which time has worked upon  - peeled off its painted layers .Rust red black and grey in subtle artistry . And on its southern pediment yellow laurel creates archaic forms and fuchsia hangs down flame red. The grey green felt  sagging roof sparkles like a shimmering mountain , makes one dream of peakes beyond - Behind its hilly lines, hues of various blues - cumulus clouds fly by against red roofs and chimney pots ,until some un -poetic mind should pull it down , or it should fly back home at last .
