Thought of the day 2 Imagine

         Sometimes I imagine that  I descend  into the deep engine room of the psyche.  It is  surprisingly quiet -on  the wall is a small half circular  dial.  The left side reads-  life is bad  or at least could be a lot damned better .On the other side  of the dial it reads -  life is good and could hardly be improved  Please click onto your preferred state ! Could it all be so easy ? And further - more-  would I dare  enjoy  unalloyed happiness ?
