                 The old owl knew

                  Exactly  the day and time

                   Of his departure from this earth.

                 Bought his ticket-

                  Told his housekeeper,

                 That the carriage

                 Would be on time,

                 To pack his bags-

                 As if he looked forward

                 To a much deserved holiday.
